Are you still washing your cans? Is Lucky Lager better than Montucky Cold Snap and is it Indie? Who will be on the Shout Out Show? This and many more beer questions PLUS a new song from Paul!!
Imagine if you will, your beer palate has been reset. Cleaned. As if you have never had a beer. BUT you still had all your knowledge of beer. Still had your memory and history with it. Would you go back to drinking the same thing you do now or would you take a different path?
We will tackle this question, listen to one of our favorite In Show Podcasts, do cool dude beer geek things and more!
New York, New York, is everything they say and no place that I’d rather be. Where else can you do a half a million things all at a quarter to three? When they play their music, ooh that modern music, they like it with a lot of style. But it’s still that same old backbeat rhythm, that really, really drives ’em wild.
They say the heart of rock and roll is still beating. And from what I’ve seen I believe ’em. Now the old boy may be barely breathing, but the heart of rock and roll, heart of rock and roll is still beating.
LA, Hollywood, and the Sunset Strip is something everyone should see. Neon lights and the pretty pretty girls, all dressed so scantily. When they play their music, that hard rock music, they like it with a lot of flash. But it’s still that same old back beat rhythm that really, really kicks ’em in the [ass].
They say the heart of rock and roll is still beating. And from what I’ve seen I believe ’em. Now the old boy may be barely breathing. But the heart of rock and roll, heart of rock and roll is still beating.
DC, San Antone and the Liberty Town, Boston and Baton Rouge. Tulsa, Austin, Oklahoma City, Seattle, San Francisco, too. Everywhere there’s music, real live music, bands with a million styles. But It’s still that some old rock and roll music that really, really drives ’em wild.
They say the heart of rock and roll is still beating. And from what I’ve seen I believe ’em. Now the old boy may be barely breathing. But the heart of rock and roll, heart of rock and roll is still beating, yeah, in Cleveland.

Uh, heart of rock and roll. -Huey Lewis -John Victor Colla
Welp. The shelter-in-place model is all but gone. Places are opening up throughout most of the country. But are we ready? Is beer ready? Are we just going to stay home anyway? Well, let’s talk about it.
Please forgive Mikey’s awkwardness (he’s big dummy) during this week’s podcast episode.
Outside of that, yeah it’s a pretty normal episode. But we wanted to make sure you see and check out some links mentioned plus some not talked about. Also, some good people to follow.
Please feel free to contact us (comment on the post or message us) with any more cool people to be following on Twitter or Instagram.
So yeah, not your normal show notes but we wanted to pass them along. Enjoy the episode; some good calls and good beers and good discussions about breweries and taprooms opening up.
If you need more virtual friends to drink good beer with, please join us. We will be here for you to talk and drink with ya.
Some stuff within: Are things going to be even harder for Indie Brewers to get themselves into store shelves? Can you be too drunk to Zoom with your beer friends? (it seems one of the show members were recently). How do we get work listeners (that are now have to stay home and don’t listen to the show) to be listeners from home? What’s up with your beer garden.
There is a lot more. Please listen and enjoy. Keep up the hand washing and staying safe.
Drinking and Skype-ing. Having some times. Getting updates on Chew Your Beer’s family and what Paul thinks about his new music page. Those are some things that are going to happen this episode. Fun will be had. Even with the cancellation of Oktoberfest and such.
Hi. Thanks for being here. We have 350 episodes. Hope you have enjoyed them before and hope you enjoy this one. Let’s try to take our minds of things, together, and have a listen.
There is too much damn bad stuff going on, we just try to provide a break for everyone with this one. Like a lot of you, we Zoomed and drank this week. Thanks for hanging with us!
