Yep, this episode is one of those times Mikey screwed up the audio. Screwed up so bad that the original audio failed. Sorta thankfully there is a backup. Sorta because it does not sound too great. But at least it’s there. Just wanted to give you a heads up before you go changing your settings and things.
Anyway, we have already started our campaign to watch the dates on Sierra Nevada’s “Celebration” Ale; how many batches are there during the course of the Holiday Season? This year we intend to find out.
Plus we get updates from Chew and Paul, talk about how new taprooms builds might already be changing and wonder what happened to one of the hosts.
How long do you let an open beer sit in the fridge before you throw it out? Would you still drink it the next day? Two days? Dump it out after an hour? What?
We tackle that beer question, along with coming up with names for Van Halen themed beers, lookout for some new Ballast Point beers, ask if we have drank in a parking stall yet, an update on how Sober October is going in the Perfect Pour Community (the PPC), someone took a trip to Dust Bowl and a lot more.
Thank you for listening. Thank you Tasty from the Brewing Network. Thank you Eddie Van Halen.
I keep forgettin’ we’re not in love anymore I keep forgettin’ things will never be the same again I keep forgettin’ how you made that so clear I keep forgettin’Everytime you’re near Everytime I see you smile Hear your “hello” Saying you can only stay a whileHey, I know that it’s hard for you To say the things that we both know are true But tell me how come
You’ll need the above lyrics at some point during this episode.
We talk and drink Pliny For President (yes, all of us), and demand Russian River beers in Tall Boy cans, look for take-and-bake beer options, Oktoberfest, and more good times with beer!
Which one of us can spend a night downing double IPAs or Stouts and come out on top? Have a great day after? It’s gotta be one of the brothers because it’s no way it is Mikey. Anyway, maybe we’ll find out this fact this week.
I think that we will learn about high tech carts at Target… I know it doesn’t sound like something a beer show would be talking about but I’m pretty sure we do that.
We just try to relax, drink a few good beers and have a little fun. Hope you will listen and have fun too.
The world turns and we muck our way through it, running on beer fumes.
Really we are just here to give you a break from life and enjoy some beer fun.
We’ll do doubles no problem as one of us takes a trip to Bishop, California, and tried to find a brewery. Another one really likes Michael “Doug” Keaton. And another thinks weird videos are appropriate to play during a Craft Beer podcast.
Does anybody care about Sam Adam’s Cousin From Boston? This is a question that WILL get asked. Space Ghost is brought up too. Fun is had. We have listener podcasts, good times and tasty waves, have a listen!:
Bumping beers off the shelf and having fun. That’s what we try to do all the weeks. This one is no different.
Thankfully, Stone Brewing is giving us more things to talk about, and there are definitely things. Mikey enters the ‘stout layer’, a listener gets a porch bomb for his good show deeds, Who is the Shout Out of the week, and MANY other fun beer things.
We get higher than an airplane, one more time tonight!:
